The Hateful Eight Back On?

By Drax Largo on May 27th, 2014

After having his lawsuit against Gawker thrown out (they allegedly leaked a copy of the script), Quentin Tarantino is apparently moving forward with The Hateful Eight after all.

Showbiz 411 reports Tarantino is currently working on a rewrite of the Western and has plans to put it before cameras this autumn, with the same cast from the screenplay’s recent live-reading. The cast will reportedly include Zoe Bell, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell and Amber Tamblyn.

Although initially rumored when the project first became known, it now appears that Christoph Waltz will not be involved. As I’m sure most of you already know, Waltz won Academy Awards for his performances in both Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.

Production is said to be planned for Wyoming later this fall.
