Pierce Is The November Man

By Drax Largo on June 6th, 2014

Following the tragic and untimely death of his daughter in real life, former 007 Pierce Brosnan is wasting no time getting back into action; the new trailer for his latest, The November Man, has debuted, and I have to admit it does look decent. It gives off a very Spy Game-ish old-dog-teaches-new-dog spy tricks, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The story for this shoot ‘em up concerns an ex-CIA operative (Brosnan) being recalled on a very personal mission, which finds himself pitted against his former pupil (Luke Bracey) in a deadly game involving high level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.

Olga Kurylenko, Eliza Taylor and Caterina Scorsone co-star.

Roger Donaldson (Brosnan’s director on Dante’s Peak) directs from a screenplay by Michael Finch (Predators), Karl Gajdusek (Oblivion), which is, of course, based on the novel by Bill Granger.

The November Man is slated for release on August 27th.
