Iron Man In Captain America 3

Well, it looks like it’s official: Robert Downey, Jr. will play Tony Stark/Iron Man in the still-untitled Captain America 3. No doubt the event of The Avengers: Age of Ultron will lead up to the events in Captain America 3…at least one would assume.

This shouldn’t come as a total surprise since there’s been no official movement on Iron Man 4. Negotiations from Downey’s camp on this matter have been non-existent, not to mention the fact a script wasn’t even in development.

Word around the campfire is the threequel will take its cues from Marvel’s Civil Wars storyline, which had Cap going up against the Iron one. The source of the conflict in that story arc revolved around Cap and Iron Man feuding over the Superhero Registration Act, which forces anyone with superhuman abilities to reveal their identities to the U.S. government and agree to act as a police force for the authorities

The Russo Brothers, directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will direct Cap 3, are rumored to be the frontrunners to direct a third and fourth Avengers movie; however, their further involvement in the Marvel cinematic universe beyond a third movie is all speculation at this point.
