The trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 is now live, gang!

Homeland‘s Rupert Friend is replacing the late Paul Walker in this reboot of the Hitman series for Fox.Walker was to have starred in after wrapping Fast and Furious 7, but, as most of you are aware, the actor was tragically killed in a car crash on Nov. 30, 2013.

The 2007 movie starred Timothy Olyphant (Justified) as a gentically engineered assassin hired by a group known only as ‘The Organization.” He wound up ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Russia and Eastern Europe. The film had mixed reviews but scored a hefty $100 million at the global box office.

This reboot was penned by Skip Woods – writer of the 2007 flick – Kyle Ward and Michael Finch.

Aleksander Bach, a highly regarded commercials director, is making his feature-film directorial debut, replacing Xavier Gens.

Chuck Gordon, Alex Young, and Adrian Askarieh are producing. Daniel Alter will be executive producer. 20th Century Fox will distribute in the US and worldwide.

Agent 47 is back on duty August 28, 2015.
