Fury Is Coming…Earlier Than Expected

David Ayer’s World War II actioner, Fury, is the latest victim of the Hollywood release date shuffle, except this time the flick is being moved up. Originally scheduled for November 14, the war movie is now scheduled for October 17.
Think this means the studio is confident they have a winner on their hands? I sure as hell hope so!
The all-star cast includes Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Jason Isaacs and Michael Pena.
Pitt plays Wardaddy, an Army sergeant who leads the five-man crew of the Fury into a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his boys face overwhelming odds in their attempts to strike at the heart of fascist Nazi Germany.
Shia LaBeouf will play play a military officer serving under Brad Pitt’s command.
Logan Lerman is playing an Army typist who is the youngest of the crew, who is forced to become their new tail gunner.
Jon Bernthal will play Grady “Coon-Ass” Travis, a cunning, vicious and world-wise Arkansas native.
Isaacs will play the confident captain and veteran on the team that Pitt’s character looks to for advice.
Michael Pena will play a tank operator, a butcher who is always is drunk — having vowed never to go into combat sober.
Fury is scheduled for release November 14, 2104.
