Dredd Is Coming Again…Sort Of…

By Drax Largo on October 7th, 2014

Well, it may not be the Dredd sequel hardcore fans have been clamouring for, but it is the next best thing: a new seven-part Dredd miniseries Dredd producer Adi Shankar has been hard at work on for the last two years is finally coming to fruition. What’s more, it will center on the Dark Judges of the 2000 A.D. universe!

The coolest thing about this new rendition of Judge Dredd: the new miniseries will be released online this month for free.!! The new project is another great chapter in Shankar’s popular Bootleg Universe, which includes the short Punisher: Dirty Laundry starring Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman, as well as Venom: Truth in Journalism, which starred Ryan Kwanten as Spider-Man baddie Eddie Brock.

No word if Karl Urban is involved in this; however, I’m hoping that A) this miniseries is cool and B) it does well enough to get the powers-that-be to green light a Dredd sequel.

Look for the new miniseries HERE some time in November!
