Curtis & Roberts Scream Queens Again

By Dr. Know on December 8th, 2014

Jamie Lee Curtis is reclaiming her title of “Scream Queen” once again, except this time she’ll be sharing the crown with Scream 4‘s Emma Roberts  for the new TV series Scream Queens.

The series is set for 15-episodes, with the first entry of the anthology series slated to air in the fall of 2015. The theme of the new horror series  will supposedly revolve around a college campus rocked by a series of murders.

Curtis, as most of you know, first came to the attention of mainstream audiences in John Carpenter’s landmark 1978 slasher, Halloween. Curtis subsequently made a name for herself in Prom Night, Terror Train, The Fog (another Carpenter classic) and, of course, the inevitable sequel, Halloween II in 1981. She also reprised her Halloween role of Laurie Strode in Halloween H20 (1998)  and Halloween: Resurrection (2002), which was also directed by Halloween II‘s Rick Rosenthal.

Roberts is probably best known to genre audiences from her role in Scream 4 as well as American Horror Story.

American Horror Story‘s Ryan Murphy created Scream Queens along with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The creative trinity will also serve as executive producers.
